The documents stated that on Dec. 4, Knowles and the father of her child, whom WMC only identified as “Walker,” were exchanging custody at his mother’s home. A verbal argument between the two parents reportedly ensued and escalated outside the house. Eventually, the fight turned physical. Knowles apparently walked away from the fight at some point, but then she returned with a knife and allegedly attacked the man, who suffered wounds to his hands and neck.
While the injuries weren’t serious, WMC reported that he was taken to Regional One Health Medical Center. He identified Knowles as the person who allegedly attacked him. It is unknown where the child was at the time of the attack.
The man’s mother was the one who called the police on Dec. 4 and reported the altercation between Knowles and her son.
Knowles posted her bond and was released. She is due in court on Dec. 27.
