A scorned lover upset about her now ex-boyfriend’s “multiple relationships” with her and another woman allegedly turned violent when she ran him over with her Range Rover in Florida. And this was after she was accused of chucking eggs at his car and dousing it with ketchup and mustard.
Yoshabelle Edouard, 19, is facing a charge of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm. According to a probable cause arrest affidavit, deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office met with the victim, 20-year-old Kervens S. Saintil, on Friday. He told deputies he was having “multiple relationships” with Edouard and another woman. Earlier in the day, Saintil accused Edouard of egging his car and smothering it with the condiments.

“I see egg and I’m like no way, no way, not my car,” Saintil told Fort Myers NBC affiliate WBBH.
Later, Saintil, his other lover and a couple of buddies were walking around his apartment complex in Punta Gorda when they saw Edouard in her white Range Rover. She turned the corner made a beeline for Saintil, cops allege. He tried to evade the vehicle, but Edouard allegedly hit him. He skipped up the front of the Rover and landed on the windshield, shattering it. Saintil suffered multiple lacerations to his right side, including on his arm, shoulder and hip, cops said.
He described to the TV station seeing Edouard “flying over the speed bumps” toward him.
“Before you know it, I’m seeing black and I’m on the floor,” he said. “My body literally flew in the air.”
Saintil noted the size of the vehicle that hit him.
“It’s by a Range Rover,” he said. “Not no sedan, a Range Rover!”
Saintil’s new girlfriend said Edouard wasn’t speeding, but was “driving fast enough to try and hurt” Saintil. The victim’s friends gave similar accounts. In an interview with detectives, Edouard said she and Saintil were in an “on again, off again sexual relationship.” She said she became upset when she heard Saintil and the other woman talking about her, according to the affidavit. Edouard said she and the other woman were talking on the phone when they were looking at the damage from the food items.
According to Edouard, her ex was “full of energy” and he “jumped onto her vehicle” when she was driving by. She allegedly claimed she “did not intend to stop or slow down.” Cops arrested her and took her to the Charlotte County Jail. She has since bonded out and has a court date scheduled for March 10.
Saintil summed up the ordeal.
“This was definitely out of … hatred,” Saintil told WBBH. “Me and her didn’t work out in the past. I’m guessing she found out about [the] new girl.”
