‘Happens to be your problem’: Woman who allegedly raged over neighbor’s dog destroying Christmas decorations may not be allowed home for the holidays

Shaylin Elizabeth Moore, a 22-year-old resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas, was charged with residential burglary and third-degree battery after an argument with her neighbor over outdoor Christmas decorations turned violent on Monday.

The neighbor, who was unnamed in the probable cause affidavit, claimed to police that Moore entered her apartment and assaulted her after the two had a disagreement about a setup of inflatable Christmas decorations that belonged to Moore. According to the affidavit, Moore asked the neighbor to control their dog from destroying the decorations. The conversation escalated into a “verbal argument,” and Moore later entered her neighbor’s apartment and started assaulting her.
