First he got fired from his job — and now, the guy seen in a viral video punching out football fans and screaming “I don’t lose” may be headed for jail.
On Thursday, the Baltimore Police Department issued an arrest warrant for 24-year-old John Callis on charges of first-degree aggravated assault and three counts of second-degree assault. In a viral video, Callis is seen roaming the streets of Baltimore following the Ravens 30-23 win over the Washington Commanders last Sunday apparently looking to beat up some fans of the opposing team.
He found his victims in the form of two 23-year-old Commanders fans who just happened to be walking on the street as Callis approached. The video showed Callis, wearing a Lamar Jackson number eight jersey, walk up to one fan, kick him and then throw a vicious right hook that landed on the victim’s face. He crumpled to the ground. Then Callis set his sights on the second fan and started wailing on him, too, as onlookers egged him on, according to the video.

As Callis walked away, he flexed his arm and exclaimed “I don’t lose.”
The video went viral and online sleuths identified Callis as the suspect within a few hours. By Monday, his employer, the insurance company Maury Donnelly & Parr Inc., announced he was fired.
“MDP has a zero-tolerance policy for violence and aggressive behavior. This individual is no longer employed with our firm,” the company said in a tweet.
Baltimore police also put up a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday asking the victims of the attack to come forward. Apparently they did, and cops issued the arrest warrant on Thursday afternoon.
This is apparently not Callis’ first brush with the law. He was arrested in August 2022 for resisting an officer without violence in St. Augustine, Florida, when he allegedly tried to prevent cops from breaking up a house party. The case was not pursued by prosecutors.
